We are days away from our official move to Sacrewell Farm just a few miles south of our old home in Stamford and a little closer to Peterborough.
The new moves sees us opening our shop on Monday 24 August where we are nestled into a lovely Courtyard. Once home to horses and other farm animals, we are set to be joined by other crafting businesses over the coming months.
The move became an exciting opportunity after we’d run a number of Halloween and Christmas workshops over at Sacrewell Farm last year. Our popular themed workshops and parties were fit to burst in our old workshop space so the move was an amazing chance to expand.
With more space we’ve also grown our team since March. We sadly said goodbye to Sam who went on to new adventures and welcomed five new members to the Stamford Heavenly Chocolates team led by myself and Kelly who has become our new Team Leader.
The team will help across the Shop, Workshops and sending out our online orders. We’ve got lots coming up over the next few months so we have also set up a new newsletter you can subscribe to so you don’t miss anything.
We closed our shop in March when Lockdown began and chose to keep closed until our move. So as you will expect we’ve been working on how to make your experience of visiting us safe and still enjoyable.
We have the main shop which is separate to the workshop area where we are welcoming customers wearing masks and there’ll be hand sanitiser. We’re also operating a maximum of two customers at a time or a family bubble at a time and you can follow the one way system.
You can also now watch us making our chocolates as our kitchen has viewing windows from the shop and workshop areas. You will also be able to come and see us and make your own chocolates when you visit during the day.
For our popular themed workshops keep a look out on our social media and email newsletter for how and when to book.
I’m so excited about our new move. Now I’d best get those last few boxes packed and get ready to say farewell to the farm where it all started four years ago.
See you soon
